Staff training / Case study
Helping staff feel at home in the cloud
We delivered a practical cloud learning programme for 60 technical and non-technical staff, connecting the fundamentals to their everyday reporting and business system tasks.
- staff trained
- 60
- assessment score improvement
- 38 pts
- completed the practical tasks
- 95%
The starting point
The challenge
The organisation was adopting cloud services and new business systems, but staff were uncertain about terminology, access and routine workflows. The initial knowledge assessment averaged 44%, and the support team was handling around 40 how-to enquiries each week.
The delivery
How we
delivered it.
- 01
Assessed the starting point
We reviewed staff knowledge and grouped the 60 participants by role, experience and the tasks they needed to perform.
- 02
Delivered six workshops
Across four weeks, we covered cloud fundamentals, safe access, shared responsibility and the organisation’s MIS and ERP workflows.
- 03
Practised the everyday tasks
Participants worked through guided reporting, collaboration and system exercises, with time to ask questions and repeat unfamiliar steps.
- 04
Supported learning afterwards
We provided quick reference guides and follow-up sessions, then reviewed assessment results and recurring support questions.
The outcome
A stronger
way forward.
- 60 staff trained through six workshops delivered over four weeks
- Average knowledge assessment score increased from 44% to 82%, a gain of 38 percentage points
- 57 of the 60 participants completed the practical task assessment, a 95% completion rate
- Weekly how-to support enquiries reduced from 40 to 18 during the six-week follow-up period, a 55% reduction
How we measured the results
We used equivalent pre- and post-course assessments, recorded practical task completion and reviewed weekly support enquiries over the six weeks following the programme.
